A significant goal of Vermont’s Health Care Reform is to improve the quality of care provided for our citizens.

This includes:

• changing the way we care for Vermonters with chronic conditions,
• giving providers better access to patient medical information,
• providing incentives to encourage wellness and prevention,
• increasing the availability of health care providers, and
• promoting transparency and quality improvement across the health care system.

These initiatives will improve the quality of life for Vermonters and they will help to control the rising cost of health care in our state.
