It is believed that the cost of premiums has a direct effect on level of enrollment in the VHAP program.
Effective July 1, 2007, premiums for children enrolled in the Medicaid Dr. Dynasaur program were decreased by 50% and premiums for adults in the Medicaid VHAP program were decreased by 35%.
